While I would get mild amusement out of that... I might get a great deal of amusement out of listening to him backtrack and explain that there was no cell service in the denver metroplex area for like 20 hours.... small things amuse evil minds

I think having a wonderful evening without him was the best direction to go. I would have done the same thing...yum... I love Lemon Drops...

As far as letting him explain, it is the right thing to do. But if you were to let him take you out again, he's going to have to earn it. Make sure of that.

I have always given people enough rope to hang themselves and then sometimes they surprise me and don't.

BTW, I love to have my evil mind amused with such things as well...
